The following Additional Options are not included in the base price of the program, but may be purchased on an à la carte basis. Depending on your selections, you may need to extend your stay. The Program Coordinator will work with you on scheduling.
Diagnostic Tests and Procedures
Access to Duke specialists for in-depth review of these health concerns:
- Screening Audiogram - To detect hearing loss, screen current hearing levels and evaluate ringing of the ears
- Screening Eye Exam at the Duke Eye Center - To detect vision loss, glaucoma and other diseases of the eye
- Screening Colonoscopy - Recommended for persons over the age of 50 or earlier, if there is a family history of Colon Cancer
- Calcium Scoring CT - Brief CT scan of the coronary arteries to detect calcification, which may be associated with coronary or blood level blockages. *Test is not covered by insurance. There will be an additional fee of $599.00 that is due on the day of assessment.
- Mammogram - Recommended yearly for women over the age of 40 to detect breast cancer
- Pelvic & Abdominal Ultrasound - Screening for abnormalities of the liver, pancreas, spleen, gall bladder, kidneys, uterus, and ovaries
- Duke Aesthetics Center - Cosmetic plastic surgery, facials, dermabrasion, Lasik eye surgery, Botox, and other cosmetic procedures. For more information, see
